How does SolarShare make payments?The Mount Majura Community Solar Farm started production in March 2021 and since then there have been two payments to investors of $0.70/share. The first payment was in April 2023 and the second was in November 2023. You can check the details of your shareholding, including payments made, through our share registry, Registry Direct. Payments are determined annually and approved at the AGM. Our payments are made by electronic funds transfer to your nominated bank account.

How can I access SolarShare’s annual reports and financial statements?Past annual reports and financial statements are published on our website. Note: Our next AGM for the 2023/24 financial year is scheduled to take place in October 2024. The annual report will be sent to all investors prior to the AGM taking place.

How can shares be transferred from a deceased estate?If a shareholder dies, their shares will be distributed in accordance with their Will. Complete the deceased estate transfer form. When is the next AGM?The AGM is run on an annual basis, with the next AGM scheduled to take place in October 2024. A formal notice will be sent to investors via Registry Direct. Please keep your details up to date.

How can I update my details on the share registry?You can update your contact and banking information within Registry Direct using your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, follow these steps to reset it.

Can I transfer my shares to another person?To transfer your shareholding to another person or entity, read the Registry Direct help article. You will need to complete the Standard Transfer Form via Registry Direct and supply any supporting documentation specified on the form.

How do I log into my shareholding?All matters about shares including share certificates and holding statements can be found by logging into Registry Direct using your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, follow these steps to reset it. If you have not yet set up your account with Registry Direct, please get in touch.

How can I sell my shares?Investors can sell their shares at any time. As SolarShare is not listed on the ASX, trading shares is a slower process where you must negotiate with a willing buyer. It is up to the buyer and seller at a particular point in time to agree on a fair value for the transaction. If you do secure a willing buyer, we can assist in supplying the necessary paperwork to have the transfer completed.
