Community action on solar power is at an all-time high, SolarShare Community Energy Ltd (SolarShare) announced today.

The recently concluded T1 Seed Funding round for SolarShare’s Majura Solar Farm was over-subscribed by 50 per cent, bringing Australia’s largest community owned solar facility a step closer to reality.

“SolarShare offered Canberra commercial-scale solar farm ownership and received immense support from a broad range of local investors.” said SolarShare Board member, Bob Clark.

“Community passion and real action underpins the ACT’s leadership in renewable energy generation.” said Bob, “We’ll soon be offering our registered community supporters an opportunity to invest in their future through the Majura Solar Farm T2 Construction Funding round.”
